I love this busy bag swap idea by Modern Parents Messy Kids for two reasons – I think it is such a great way to keep children entertained, and I love that it builds on parents helping each other out through a swap (but without even really adding more load to anyone). We need to help each other more!

The idea is simple – get a group together and think of a busy bag that your children would like. Something you can whip out at a restaurant, on a plane or just wherever and whenever you need an on-the-go activity. Make as many busy bags as you have children in the group. Then trade your bags for the bags made by other parents. You only have to think of one activity but you get a whole set of different activity bags for your kids!
