On the way back from Alec’s check-up this afternoon, we did a bit of semi-spontaneous shopping. Things I had been planning to buy anyway but maybe not yet…
TEUTONIA POLAR BEAR MUFF. I knew I would need this for our first Swedish winter pushing a stroller around. It’s still unseasonably warm in Stockholm, but it won’t be for long. When the cold comes, I can look forward to toasty warm fingers in this stroller muff.
SHEEPSKIN FOR THE STROLLER. I was going to buy Teutonia’s own sheepskin but I think it would be very bulky to use together with the obligatory foot muff so I ended up getting a small sheepskin that I can just put iside the muff/bag for Alec to sit on. I’ll just have to cut a slit (or three) for the harness. Hopefully this will keep that cute little butt warm!
BABYBJÖRN PLATE & SPOON. We already have one of these sets in yellow and I really like it. It stays put quite well, the shape makes picking up food easier and the spoons are easy to grasp and feel like a good first spoon for a little one. So today I picked up another set with a red plate.
BABYBJÖRN POTTY CHAIR. We are a little curious about “Elimination Communication“, even though we haven’t taking any concrete steps to get started with it. Since the potty chair we had bought got lost in the move, I picked up another one in case we decide to go ahead with early potty training.
