Do you guys follow Gina at Willowday? If you don’t – you should! I first saw this wreath on Willowday and immediately knew I wanted to make one with Alec. So last (Canadian) Thanksgiving, when the leaves were all perfectly yellow, we made an autumn leaf wreath and it graced my parent’s front door in the country all season.
It was really easy to make. We found an old wire and bent it into shape, then simply threaded on the leaves. It took A LOT of leaves. And truth be told – Alec wasn’t really that into it. I was planning to make another wreath again this year, but we were in Italy for at the beginning of October and didn’t celebrate Thanksgiving until last weekend, and when we arrived in the country the trees were already bare and the fallen leaves were hidden under the first dusting of snow. So no wreath this year.
But last year’s wreath was so bushy and gorgeous and we will definitely be making these again!
