It might be because this has been one of the darkest Novembers in history here in Sweden, but this year, I am so so ready for December and I am already really feeling the Christmas spirit. The boys, especially Alec, are starting to “get” and get into Christmas, and that just makes the holidays so much more fun! I have so many great projects planned in the coming weeks and I can’t wait to get started.
You know I love advent calendars, so I am so happy and proud to be a part of 25 Creative Days of Christmas – an advent calendar full of inspiration for a more creative holiday season. Each day in December, the calendar will lead you to a new project or recipe, something to make, bake or do in preparation for a perfect Scandinavian Christmas.
25 Creative Days is the first collaboration of the newly-formed network The Creative Collective Sweden. Spanning design, crafts and DIY, interiors, food and baking, and lifestyle, the ten blogs that make up the Creative Collective bring a uniquely Scandinavian esthetic and point of view. The Creative Collective is made up of:
Karin och Freja Schaefer, Pysselbolaget
Helena Lyth, Hemma med Helena
Sofia Brolin, Hildas Hem
Helena Söderberg, Craft & Creativity
Karolina Eriksson, Lina by the bay
Malin Lundgren, Pastill
Maria Strömberg, Made by Mary
Mina Neumüller Malhotra, Mini Piccolini
Linda Gimle, Djurabok
Helena Nord, Mormorsglamour
Gina Vide, Willowday
I could not be more happy or proud to be a part of this amazing group of bloggers!
So how does it work? Every day, one blog in the Creative Collective will show you something Christmasy and inspirational, and then hand over to another blog in the network. Readers will get 25 new, creative projects and get to know new blogs with different styles. The countdown to Christmas has never been more creative!
It all starts on Monday and the first day of Christmas is brought to you by the mother and daughter team Karin and Freja of Pysselbolaget – a crafty blog with tons of easy crafts that you can usually pull together with things you already have at home.
Follow the Creative Collective on Facebook so you don’t miss a single day of our creative countdown to Christmas! And make sure to follow our Pinterest board – there are already so many great pins on there!
