We just started using our Angelcare monitor this evening and I feel so so good about it!
Remember how we had this monitor on our shopping list when we were preparing for Baby #2?
We had an Angelcare Monitor for Alec as well, but that was before they were available with video. I realize it’s a bit neurotic, but I worry so much about SIDS and I just could not relax with Alec in his crib until we had our monitor set-up.
Little Baby L is still waking multiple times every night so I have him in bed with me in his BabyNest. I don’t really worry about him when we are both in bed, but he goes to sleep many hours before me and it’s those early evening hours that have me running back and forth to check on him every few minutes until I join him.
This evening we decided to set up the monitor and put him down in his crib in the (up til now unused) nursery. I’ll move him over to our room when I am ready to sleep.
This monitor has a movement sensor and sounds and alarm if the baby stops breathing. It also transmits sound like a regular monitor and it has video – the quality of which I am actually pretty impressed with thus far.
I feel so good knowing we have this monitor up and running now for Louis! Yay!
