This is such a fun idea. Since children always seem to be more excited to play with your wallet than anything else – make an activity wallet that they can get into on-the-go! Little A used to be crazy about my wallet but I stopped letting him play with it after the time a hundred-dollar bill fell out and ended up under the table at a café (not to mention all the times I would pick him up out of his stroller and find my credit cards on the seat). We did put together a wallet for him – an old Louis Vuitton cast-off that my sister had worn out – full of old store cards etc. But he never really got into it. Perhaps an activity wallet will be just the thing?

I think you would have to keep it constantly updated to keep your little one interested. And of course tailor the contents to your child. Alec would need little trinkets to mess around with more than flatter objects…
