The weeks are flying by and we have made relatively little progress on the new nursery.
I don’t mind that we haven’t “put up” the crib etc that we bought – I feel fine just knowing we have it. And I realize (and am trying to accept) that we can work out the pretty details – art, mobile, curtains, wall paper etc – in the months following the birth since we don’t really expect to fully move Baby into the nursery until he/she is a few months old. But I would feel so much better if I had at least made some decisions and ordered some stuff. The other night, while watching Sweden’s big game in the European Soccer Championships, I browsed some lighting options…
I have simple black stands for a small table lamp and a floor lamp and have recently bought simple shades from IKEA that I am hoping to be able to cover in some cute fabric that will suit the nursery. The problem is the ceiling light. Specifically the fact that I am love with and just really really want to hang a Jonas Bohlin Liv lamp, but my husband just really really doesn’t like this lamp. So I need to look at some alternatives.
